Hisingers tower – suite BOOK A ROOM Billnäs Ruukki’s Hisingerin tower suite opens up a view over the historic ironworks area.
Carl is one of the blacksmith studios for rent renovated in red mud log houses. The two spacious room cabin got its name from Carl Billsten (1605–1673), the founder of Ruukki. The house was built after a great fire in Billnäs in 1782. For centuries it was used by families of Ruukki employees, even for several generations. The museum values of the house are protected and it was thoroughly repaired in 2022/2023, respecting the old, after which Carl has been used as accommodation by Ruukki in Billnäs in the immediate vicinity of the nuclear power plant.
The apartment has gravity ventilation – and an air heat pump.

Sepän studios have been renovated in the red mud log buildings from the 19th century, which once served as the ironworks’ blacksmiths’ residence.
The sensual two-person Residence suite is located on the top floor of the head office, in accordance with the Johtoryhmä- conference room.
The spacious double rooms have been renovated in the building of the Ironworks former drawing office, with respect for the history of the space.
