Vesterinen Yhtyeineen is currently a ten-piece ensemble with a very broad musical spectrum. Their unfussy exploration, sometimes in the Western lands mapped by Ennio Morricone, sometimes in the cradles of Slavic gloom and sometimes in the punch bowls of Swedish positivity, has produced numerous radio hits and heart-pounding songs. The same goes for the lyrics. They do not spare emotions. Joys and sorrows are explored in places, often with a touch of black humor. Over the course of just over ten years, the band has found a unique and beautiful sound that continues to inspire new people to draw from the orchestra’s music.
