The founder of Billnäs Ruukki was Carl Billsten from Stockholm, and Ruukki included a blast furnace and two bar iron hammers. On June 25, 1641, Queen Kristiina issued an order in Stockholm to grant mining rights to Carl Billsten, a businessman who had been influential in Turku for a long time.
During the meeting, you will stay in charming Vuorineuvos rooms and enjoy a versatile program that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as coffee breaks in a historical setting. During the meeting day, you will get to know the rich history of Billnäs Ruukki on a guided tour (option) and optionally either relax in the sauna (option) or dive into the world of chocolate at Billnäs Chocolate Factory (option).
